Lt. Gen. (USA, Ret) Jeffrey A. Sorenson is a partner at A.T. Kearney, and President of the Public Sector and Defense Services entity in North America. Prior to joining A.T. Kearney, Sorenson served as the Department of the Army Staff's Chief Information Officer/G-6. Previous roles include Deputy for Acquisition and Systems Management to the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics and Technology) and more than 20 years of acquisition experience as a certified U.S. Army Material Acquisition Manager. Sorenson is a member of the National Security Agency Advisory Board on Information Assurance and has been recognized with numerous awards and decorations, including being selected as a 2010 Top 100 Federal Award winner by Federal Computer Week, Army's Project Manager of the Year in 1998, the Defense Distinguished Service Medal, the Legion of Merit with three oak leaf clusters, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, and the Army Meritorious Service Medal with two oak leaf clusters.  In addition to a bachelor’s degree from the United States Military Academy, Sorenson earned a master of business administration from Northwestern University, majoring in finance, accounting and decision sciences.
