Bryan Hartin is the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Iridium Communications Inc., the only satellite communications company that offers truly global voice and data coverage. In his role, Mr. Hartin is responsible for the global commercial sales and marketing functions of Iridium, including channel management, pricing, product management, sales support, strategic marketing & communications, public relations, and branding. He manages an international team working to accelerate the growth of commercial revenue through a growing wholesale distribution channel across the Iridium’s lines of business: Internet of Things (IoT), Maritime, Land Mobile, and Aviation. Mr. Hartin and his team play an instrumental role in developing strategy around new products and services, as well as managing partner relations.
Prior to joining Iridium in 2012, Mr. Hartin served as Vice President of Sales, Distribution, and Business Development for LightSquared where he was responsible for the company's sales and distribution of satellite products and services, as well as ongoing customer support programs. Previously, Mr. Hartin led Sprint Nextel's Indirect Distribution Program which consisted of more than 2,000 dealers operating in more than 10,000 locations across the United States and accounted for more than 25 percent of Sprint Nextel's wireless sales. Prior to joining Sprint Nextel, Mr. Hartin spent over 13 years at Nortel Networks, performing several Marketing and Sales roles including managing National Sales Teams and leading Major/Global Accounts selling multi-product solutions to Telecom Carriers.
Mr. Hartin holds a business degree from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, N.Y. and an MBA from American University in Washington, D.C.
